Malegra FXT Sildenafil & Fluoxetine Tablets

The two main ingredients in Malegra FXT Tablet are Fluoxetine and sildenafil citrate. The salt sildenafil citrate is categorized as a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor, while duloxetine is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). They have been shown to be beneficial in treating erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, among other issues pertaining to male erection and ejaculation.

Sildenafil citrate imitates the physiological effects of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). And by obstructing certain chemical pathways in the body, duloxetine helps to reduce anxiety and stress related to ED and PE.

Direction for use:

Malegra FXT dosage instructions are given below:

• It takes thirty to sixty minutes for the full effect of this combination to manifest.  Hence, take it one to four hours before engaging in any sexual activity.
• Regardless of whether you take the medicine or not, you cannot have an erection unless you are naturally aroused. 
• Take it as directed by your doctor, either with or without meals. 
• High-fat foods should be avoided as they may delay the effect of Malegra FXT Tablet.
• Take a single dose/day; not more than this.

Contraindications & drug interactions:

Malegra FXT Tablet should not be taken in the following situation.

• Past history of duloxetine and sildenafil allergies.
• If you use any drugs for angina, such as nitrate.
• If you are dealing with a serious stomach ulcer, a liver problem, or a cardiac condition.
• if you had a heart attack, stroke, or experienced another cardiac ailment.

Note: Malegra FXT Tablet should not be taken with grapefruit juice or grapefruits, as this will reduce the medication’s efficacy.

• Flushing/increased sweating
• Constipation/loss of appetite 
• Sleep problems
• Dizziness/drowsiness
• Vision changes
• Abnormal vision

Note the following precautions and warnings before taking Malegra FXT Tablet.

• Avoid operating heavy machinery or operating a motor vehicle after taking this drug since it may cause dizziness or blurred vision.
• The safety of taking the pill in conjunction with vitamins and herbal medicines cannot be guaranteed. Thus, stay away from them completely.
• Notify your doctor right away if you notice any abrupt or unanticipated changes in your behavior or mood, such as panic attacks, difficulty falling asleep, or a worsening of melancholy or anxiety.
• On rare occasions, taking the tablet might result in less blood flowing to the optic nerve in the eye, perhaps leading to an abrupt loss of eyesight. See a doctor if you find yourself in such a situation.
